Certified WorkComp Advisor

Proud to announce the commercial lines producers of Hunt-Miller Insurance are now Certified WorkComp Advisors.

What does that mean?

It means we have developed a unique approach to helping business manage their bottom line. And our approach has nothing to with saving you money through a quote on your insurance. It has everything to do with helping you achieve your business goals through top down human resource/Risk Management & Insurance Programs.

Why is it not about a quote, I thought that was how the proccess works?

Wrong! Quoting is not the answer to your workers comp costs. The business owner determines the majority of their workers comp costs, not the agent or the insurance company. The business owner has a choice… about a %40 to %50 choice on their costs.

As a business owner, do you know the steps to controlling cost? Are you putting those steps into practice?

If not, let me help you.

Workers Compensation

I suppose as business has picked up from those early months of learning all my job duties, my blog flow has drastically decreased. Hopefully that will change as we have been working on our internet presence. Or webiste people say its important, so we’re going for it.

I thought I would throw an offer out there… If you own a business I am offereing a free review of yoru Workers Compensation program. I do know what your thinking though… “This must be a sales tactic”. But seriously, its not. I am not trying to give you a quote, or sell you anything, just demonstrate the process.

You may have thought Workers Comp was all the same, but that could not be farther from the truth. Have you ever received a notice from someone called the NCCI… And they told you your experience mod was what? Based on all these random numbers? Have you ever been hit with a large unexpected audit? Ever had a claim mis-managed? Are you paying 50% more than you should because your mod is out of control. What is the mod again…

Send me an e-mail or call me. I will be more than happy to help.

What I’ve Been Up To

My blog has gone into a bit of a hibernation over the past few week with everything that has been going on!

The main thing was the wedding! I got married to my best friend in the world earlier this month. 11/5/11 to be exact! It was such a special time for the both of us! Then we spent a week in one of our favorite towns, Charleston SC.

After playing catch up, I think I am finally back to a state of somewhat normalcy.

Hope all is well with you, and look for more posts/pictures in the near future!

Financial tip of the day.

Hebrews 12:11

At the time, discipline isn’t much fun. It always feels like it’s going against the grain. Later, of course, it pays off handsomely, for it’s the well-trained who find themselves mature in their relationship with God.

Isn’t that true in our lives as well as our pocketbooks?

Want to find the cheapest car insurance? Consider the following…

Consider yourself warned…

Bodily injury limits matter… Don’t let your agent fool you… YOU are responsible for any losses in excess of those limits as well as property damage…

So when shopping for car insurance… consider the following:

Would you rather save $100.00 a year on car insurance and have to keep 1,000,000.00 in cash reserves on hand if you put someone out of work for the rest of their life and get sued?

or

Pay $100, $200, or even $300 more a year and have a personal umbrella insurance policy that adds 1,000,000.00 to your personal liability automatically.

One of these two options makes more sense… its up to you to decide!

Case Study…

Recently, I was able to create a significant savings for a new friend of mine on his home and auto insurance. I thought I would set up the scenereo :

2 Cars

1 Home

There was one auto claim and no tickets on the account.

I was able to save the client $400 on their insurance as well as increasing coverage in several key areas whle not taking any coverage away from the client.

This is the result nine out of ten times!

Don’t go another day spening more money on less coverage. Let us help you create financial freedom by:

1) Incrasing your coverage, therefore reducing your personal liability.

2) Saving you money on your premiums!

Call and ask for Josh. I would be more than willing to help you!
